Born in Milan, the artist trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and later at the Abate Zanetti School in Venice. Her practice is rooted in a tradition in which manual making is an integral part of thinking. Matter is never a mere tool, but a language—a place of listening and transformation.
Over the years, she has worked across different disciplines, ranging from oil and acrylic painting to printmaking techniques such as etching and drypoint, and to glass in its multiple forms: blown, lampworked, and kiln-cast. In recent years, glass has taken on a central role in her research for its living, mutable nature, capable of engaging with light and generating forms suspended in a constant balance between control and unpredictability.
For more than twenty years she worked as an art director, an experience that deeply shaped her compositional and conceptual approach. This extended visual practice is reflected in her attention to detail, the construction of surfaces, and her ability to orchestrate matter, color, and light. Her jewelry is conceived as unique, intimate, and unrepeatable pieces, while her lighting projects transform light into atmosphere—a silent presence that defines space.
Travel represents an essential dimension of her research. Movement and encounters have enriched her gaze, leaving traces that resurface in the works as layered memories. Painting and printmaking have taught her to give form to what is not immediately visible: emotions, inner tensions, and a deep connection with nature and with others. Her works invite attentive listening, moving beyond appearances and suspending judgment.
She lives and works in Florence, where she continues to question materials in search of a subtle balance between magic and matter, intention and surprise—an equilibrium that defines a refined, contemporary, and deeply personal artistic practice.
